Insemination will be carried out at a slow pace and in cooperation with you. If you have chosen acupuncture together with insemination the acupuncture will take place just before and just after insemination. Just like the midwives, the acupuncturists are specialists in fertility treatment. 

During insemination the midwife places the sperm at the top of the uterus by using a thin catheter. The sperm cells find their own way to the egg.  

Insemination is carried out with donor sperm or with your husband’s sperm. We buy the donor sperm from Danish sperm banks. You can choose to be inseminated with sperm from an anonymous donor or an open donor. An open donor has agreed that your child may contact him after the child turns 18.
