It cannot be said clearly enough: smoking damages our health in every possible way.
In spite of this it is difficult for smokers to give up the habit, and even though a desire for pregnancy can be a great source of motivation, we are aware that for many people it is just too difficult a task to give up smoking.
We recommend that you try to stop smoking right up to the point where you start the insemination process, or at least cut down drastically on your consumption.
During your first interview with the midwife we will try to formulate a plan for phasing out tobacco.
