Dr Pernille Danneskiold Lassen
I became a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics in 2009 and defended my doctoral thesis on female sex hormones in 2001. In 2011 I was employed as a senior physician, after which I worked for a number of years at various university hospitals specializing in binocular surgery. During the same period, I was employed as a clinical lecturer at the University of Copenhagen with responsibility for the medical students in the department. I left the hospital in 2017 and have since worked as a practising gynaecologist and fertility doctor. On Fridays, I maintain my operative skills as a laparoscopic surgeon in a private hospital. Fertility patients make up a large part of my patient group. I am particularly interested in the challenges surrounding optimal hormone treatment for the individual patient. I have recently opened the Gynecology and Fertility clinic in Vesterbro, but continue to work as a consultant at Vitanova.
